It is time for all men to realize that all marriages are on sinking sand, unless they are grounded firmly on the Rock of God’s Word.

A Wise Man was written to help each man (husband, father, son, uncle, grandfather) that your entire dependency must be on the Lord. Within its pages you will read Scriptures, one right on top of another, which is all that you need to renew your mind to God’s way of thinking. This will help you to throw, indeed you MUST throw out every other opinion other than God's that you have gathered from the world and its way of thinking. Then, it is your task to rebuild your home upon the Rock by being a doer of the Word, not a hearer only, by what you have learned—simply, the truth.

Before rebuilding, of course, you must have good blueprints. Your blueprints must be His Word, which, as I said is what this entire book is filled with. Next, you must find the Cornerstone that everything will be built around. Our
Cornerstone is taking Jesus as your Lord, not just your Savior. You will cover this in Chapter Two; however, if you are not yet now in the place where you know without a shadow of a doubt you know Him (not know "about" Him) and He knows you, then please take just two minutes to learn where to begin.

With a renewed mind and the Lord’s blueprint, you will then be able to rebuild your home on the Rock  instead of on sinking sand. Those of you who are sitting amidst rubble because your house has fallen (through infidelity or divorce) really have the advantage. What? Yes, you do! You are motivated to begin to rebuild now since basically you have nowhere to live. It will be painful, but worth every bit of effort you exert.

Men who are living in a home, which only creaks a little or maybe shifts when the weather changes, are comfortable and it always takes a crisis. Praise God that He has gotten your attention, or you would not be on this site.

Remember, Jesus said when the rains come, not if they come. And, He is very clear that all those whose houses are not built on the Rock will fall, (not might fall) and great will be their fall!

Your rains and winds more than likely have come in the form of you or your wife being unfaithful and your marriage headed for divorce. NEVERTHELESS, know this, God is faithful—He has used whatever it took to your attention. Now that He has it, it is time to get busy rebuilding!

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:6).

I guarantee that all of us will continue to have trials and tribulations in our lives; therefore, let’s build our homes firmly on the Rock.
